MORE on Steven Crowder vs little person Ben's Daily Wire

Crowder completely shifted the conservative digital media landscape in under 24 hours.

Crowder threw the first punch yesterday when he did a video on contracts between large conservative media groups and up-and-coming conservative talent.

The general consensus was Crowder was naming the Daily Wire, as it makes sense they’re the only one big enough to even play in the arena of those numbers, and that was confirmed by Jeremy Boreing in a follow-up video:

We learned that Crowder crapped all over a 4 year, $50mm deal, which tells me a few things. First, that was the starting offer, which means the ending number would have been around $75mm. Joe Rogan is to independent digital media what Alex Rodriguez was to pro sports in terms of getting paid.

Crowder is going after Joe Rogan money. It’s funny because a few months ago I posted about how CNN should pay Candace Owens $1B for 10 years and call it a day. After seeing these Crowder numbers, you know Owens is making a crap-ton of money.

Rogan made that possible when he did that deal with Spotify for $200mm (the initial $100mm amount wasn’t correct). It showed the up-and-comers in indie digital media what’s possible, and there’s tons of money sloshing around that used to be only available from the tit of communist media like Fox and CNN, and outlets like Comedy Central.

I love that independent conservative media talent have eight and nine figure contracts on the table while communist-controlled media continues to whither away as if they never existed.

Back to Crowder, he replied to Boreing’s response video by driving home the point that it’s about not taking a knee to the satanic Silicon Valley social media industry, and not owning the up-and-coming talent:

Shapiro is such a clown:

1 - Clearly Crowder is good at this business. Shapiro needs investors and kneels before Silicon Valley. Crowder has built his brand and company himself in spite of Silicon Valley.

2 - Crowder walked from your crappy $50mm deal. Sounds like you’re not good at negotiations.

3 - Is that the same Shapiro who took that swipe at Candace Owens publicly a few months ago over Kanye West without calling her first?

I stopped consuming their content when they made it obvious they thought Trump lost the 2020 election and were all-out Never-Trump. I don’t have high regard for anyone who thinks Trump actually lost that election.

I have no admiration for someone like, say, Jordan Peterson. Remember when he said Brett Kavanaugh should step down from his nomination during the false accusations? Sorry, Peterson is a total loser.

Matt Walsh? I love his work on taking down the woke trannie idiocy, but he’s a one-trick pony, and hates Trump. Candace Owens seems to be the only hitter over there, yet she’s sort of muffled to a degree.

Daily Wire is what Crowder said it is (my paraphrasing): an extension of Silicon Valley’s enforcement of anti-American terms of service. At first I was sort of disappointed at Crowder for recording the conversation, but he made the point he’s only done that three times, all of them involving social media executives.

I think Crowder is using Daily Wire to up the negotiations with other platforms like Rumble. Remember when they were trying to lure Rogan away by matching his Spotify deal? Elon Musk is trying to attract creators.

Ultimately, I think Crowder is making enough money on his own, and will likely launch his own media platform to incubate new talent.

Look for Owens to stay silent as the other DW clowns stand up for the little people running their outfit. Crowder will have the support of everyone except the hardcore DW fans.

CLOSING NOTE: for you conservative digital media scouts looking for the next talent, you’re sleeping on this guy: John Doyle. Like I said about Crowder back in the day (please don’t make me go find the posts), and like I said about Owens when she barely had any followers, Doyle is the next big name.
