LOL over Google (and Silicon Valley) layoffs
I love watching non-essentials with college degrees realize they have no value.
The rubber-meets-the-road reality of the difference between an employee with a marketable skill, whether that be a coder, electrical engineer, or a plumber giving you a front-row view of ass-crack as he fixes your sink before handing you a knee-buckling invoice, and a non-essential diversity hire with a college degree and just enough skill to navigate a latte machine, is settling in to the country’s largest consumer base of avocado toast and soy products.
There are some coders caught up in the purge, but there’s one huge difference: coders will be hired by another company immediately while the unskilled non-essentials will spend the next year telling prospective employers about how proud they were of what they accomplished at their previous gig.
Coders who have been purged are mostly those who were part of projects that were 86’d; not because they weren’t producing. Let me put it this way: no halfway decent coder has any fear of finding a new gig.
How miserable must it be to be a zoomer with a crapload of debt, no skills (vocational or otherwise), and a permanent speech defect where they raise the last half of every sentence two octaves and have a much higher risk of dropping dead from myocarditis.
Back to Google, the one bad thing for the remaining coders is there will be a lot less potential for happy endings. That’s probably why they were really crying, as they must now find a way to interface with other potential mates in the wild to obtain satisfaction. There’s always Tinder I suppose.
I love these layoffs. The losers of our society who’ve for years looked down upon the producers of our society, that were ultimately victimized by anti-capitalist policies ushered in rapidly by Hussein, are those who were stupid enough to think they could have a long-lasting career as an unskilled non-coder in an industry dependent on coders.
Thankfully, for the employees who’ve undergone such PTSD over a basic life experience of losing employment, at Google they have a department for health and well being. Oh, actually, never mind, that’s been cut too. Dang.
Cutting off access in the middle of the night was the best way to do it. I can’t imagine having to endure a lobby full of zoomers crying “I’m literally shaking right now!” These losers support policies that destroy the economy and lives, and are infinitely more cruel than having access shut off with a 60 day severance.
I hope the leftist tears spilling through the streets of San Francisco are washing away the feces, urine, and hypodermic needles littering their utopia.
I have no love for commies, and their distress makes me happy.
